JOB TITLE: Residential Supervisor
PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT: Residential Program
CLASSIFICATION: Full-time
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $22.00
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Residential Assistant Director
POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee residence by supervising staff and performing administrative functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Required Formal Education, Training & Background Experience
High school degree with 3-years of experience
Supervisory experience
Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and dependable transportation
Preferred Formal Education, Training & Background Experience
Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field with 1-year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities; OR Associates degree with 2-years of experience.
Experience managing multiple subordinates in a complex and constantly changing environment.
Essential Skills and Abilities
Behavior management certification (CPI)
Medication administration certification
Functional knowledge of basic computer applications (i.e. word-processing, e-mail, Internet)
Ability to:
- Deal with complex factors in a changing environment; make appropriate decisions, based on available data.
- Promote Agency Values by serving as an effective role model to staff, supervisors, and the people we support.
- Willingness and discretion to work atypical and extended hours and to perform additional duties to address emerging or anticipated program needs.
- Management style and philosophy is compatible with our agency’s Philosophy of Management.
- Participate in a system of 24/7 on-call coverage during off-hours
