What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at INTECHRITY INC?
Material Handler/Manufacturing Assembler in the medical device field will perform various manufacturing tasks in support of company goals, guidelines, and regulatory requirements to produce components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducts all functions of the receiving and inspection processes for raw materials.
- Performs periodic inventory physical counts (e.g. monthly).
- Anticipates need of materials, and communicates to Management.
- Ensures all materials are stored in a safe and orderly manner.
- Carries out dispositions for inspected parts.
- Ensures that the warehouse is in good housekeeping order.
- Assemble assigned product parts and sub-assemblies in accordance with production guidelines.
- Perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
- Notify management of quality, process, or product discrepancies and equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
- Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Rotate through different tasks on the assembly line.
- Ensure that product assembled meets quality standards and rejects products outside of specifications.
- Setup and operation of injection molding and auxiliary equipment
- Perform equipment startup and shutdown following written procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain cleanroom environment in accordance with established procedures.

Salary commensurate with experience
