What will you be doing:
The Director of Nursing is accountable for planning, developing and supervising the activities of personnel who provide health care and nursing services to the agency’s patients. The Director of Nursing has the responsibility for; selecting field staff, orientating and on boarding staff members, completing employee appraisals and resolving issues involving employee disciplinary action and patient care. The Director of Nursing will oversee the conducting of patient assessments, re-assessments, conduct supervisory visits and development of patients plans of care.
What will you come with:
- Two (2) years of related experience in home health
- One (1) year of leadership experience
- Active FL license in the State of Florida
Specialized knowledge
- Knowledge of the Home Health Services
- Knowledge of computer clinical programs such EHR/EMR system(s)
- IV
- Wound care
Skills & Abilities
- Great communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Patient and/or family education
- Strong organization skills and be detail oriented.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
