What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem Licensed Clinical Therapist (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) position at Integrated Pain Management Medical Group, Inc.?
The licensed clinician (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD) will play a key role in delivering trauma-focused clinical care within the Trauma Recovery Program, with a primary focus on providing direct EMDR therapy to enrolled patients. When needed, the clinician may also assist in facilitating group sessions across other rehabilitation programs.
This role involves delivering direct psychological services to injured workers using a range of modalities, including but not limited to: initial clinical assessments, case management, and psychoeducation.
In collaboration with the broader clinical team, the clinician will contribute to ongoing evaluation and improvement of treatment approaches. Responsibilities also include participation in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to support comprehensive, coordinated care.
Clinicians in this role are expected to deliver services reimbursable under Workers’ Compensation guidelines and to maintain timely and compliant clinical and administrative documentation in accordance with these standards.
*This is a per diem, as needed basis.
What you will do:
- Provide individual therapy to adult clients in an outpatient pain clinic.
- Perform Assessment and treatment planning for active caseload.
- Provide clinical care informed by best practices in the field of pain psychology.
- Refer to other modalities within the clinic as needed.
- Document all client care in our EMR system.
- Provide clinical care that complies with all the legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Licensed Psychologist
- EMDR Trained
- Experience in assessment and treatment of patients with chronic pain conditions.
- Experience with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-oriented interventions preferred
- Trauma background is a plus.
- Familiarity working with chronic pain/trauma population, an integrated therapeutic approach is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with patients, families, professionals, and co-workers.
- Able to work with patients using sound judgment.
- An attitude of excellence in providing quality patient care.
Compensation Range:
$60.00 to $80.00 Hourly
All compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and geographical locations.
