As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple residential projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with all national and local regulations, and acting as the primary contact for subcontractors, suppliers, customers, and inspectors. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee multiple residential construction projects simultaneously, ensuring quality control, compliance, and timely completion.
  • Review building permits and all project documents for accuracy and feasibility.
  • Manage onsite budgets, subcontractors, and ensure smooth coordination of utilities, security, and other site needs.
  • Conduct inspections at key project milestones and ensure all punch work is completed before final handover.
  • Monitor job cost variances and maintain communication with management, subcontractors, and clients to resolve any issues.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors, including selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations, and maintain a secure and healthy work environment.
  • Provide regular progress updates and assist in resolving any issues that may arise during construction.
  • Visit job sites to verify work progress and address any onsite challenges.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • 5 years of experience in residential home building as a Construction Manager, Builder, or Superintendent.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in both Windows and Apple mobile devices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation are a must.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferences:
  • B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with online construction scheduling tools.
  • Supervisory experience or HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical license is a plus.
