Job Summary
We are seeking a Contracting Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, superior multitasking abilities, and an eye for detail. This role involves processing contracting, providing agent support, handling various cross-training assignments, training new hires and temporary employees, and taking on special projects as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Processing licensing paperwork with insurance carriers for agents and agencies.
- Providing overall agent support and assistance via phone calls and email.
- Following up with insurance carriers and agents as necessary.
- Processing applications and beneficiary enrollments.
- Training new hires, temporary employees, and cross-training current staff as needed.
- Taking on special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager and team leads.
- Associate’s Degree or higher is preferred, but not required.
- Prior customer service and/or administrative experience is needed.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Superior customer service skills.
