Assistant Property Manager
Full-time, 40 hours a week
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday - Friday
Integrity Medina is comprised of three properties: Medina Village, Westwood Lafayette, and Lincoln Crossing. All total, there are 364 apartment homes in the community.
The Assistant Property Manager supports and assists the Property Manager in the general administration of the property and performs related management functions by completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close-out and financial reports, processing invoices for payment, collecting rent, fees, and other payments, completing bank deposits, dispositions, and account reconciliations, and using the property management software to record, track, and report on all financial workings of the community. Manages resident renewals. Cross-trained on Property Manager and Leasing Consultant functions and acts in that capacity in the absence of either.
Physical requirements & Work environment
- Ability to physically inspect the property and individual units.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Standing, walking, giving tours, and meeting with potential residents.
- Must be able to traverse a variety of properties with stairs and in a variety of weather.
Qualifications/experience required
- High school degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in leasing, bookkeeping, or operations in property management
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook, experience with Yardi Voyager desirable
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal), customer service, and negotiation skills
- Ability to perform independently, in a changing and multi-tasking environment
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills including attention to details
- High level of analytical and quantitative skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Understanding of Fair Housing and other laws and regulations governing multi-family housing
