RN Wound Care Nurse

Job Summary
Integrity Wound Solutions is actively hiring Wound Care Nurses to fill several open positions, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. A Wound Care Nurse plays a critical role in the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with complex wounds. This position requires a compassionate and skilled nursing professional who can provide high-quality care to patients. The Wound Care Nurse will collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and promote healing through evidence-based practices.

Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' wounds, including diagnostic evaluations and triage.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and wound characteristics.
• Administer wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement, and ostomy care.
• Educate patients and families on wound management techniques and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Provide support for procedures such as spinal taps when required.
• Utilize skills in dermal fillers as needed for wound management.

Requirements

• Current and active Registered Nurse license for California.
• Experience in wound care management or a related field is required.
• Familiarity with urgent care practices and internal medicine is preferred.
• Skills in triage and diagnostic evaluation are essential.
• Experience working with geriatric and/or diabetic patients is advantageous.
• Experience with wound care procedures such as debridement, placement of wound vac/NPWT, compression therapy, biopsy, taking wound cultures, etc., are all preferred
• Strong communication skills to educate patients effectively. Bilingual job seekers are strongly encouraged to apply.

• We are currently looking to fill in-person roles in our outpatient clinic, as well as inpatient roles within the hospital. This position is flexible and offered on either a part-time or full-time basis and can be tailored to the candidate's situation, as their are multiple openings. It is ideal for a dedicated nursing professional looking to make a significant impact on patient healing and recovery through specialized wound care, as well as for those looking for part-time opportunities that can utilize their wound care skills.
