Description:
Experienced IT Project Consultant to provide onsite support for the SAP implementation at our client's facility in Jacksonville, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the project strategy, ensuring that the SAP system is seamlessly integrated into the warehouse operations. This role requires strong experience in SAP implementation for Warehouse Operations within the Life Sciences industry, with a particular focus on ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Onsite Project Leadership: Act as the onsite project lead, developing and executing the strategy for the SAP implementation, and ensuring alignment with the client's operational goals and industry best practices.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with the client’s cross-functional teams, including IT, warehouse operations, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to gather requirements and ensure all stakeholders are engaged.
- SAP Expertise: Utilize your deep knowledge of SAP modules related to warehouse management (WM, EWM) and their integration with other SAP modules such as MM, QM, and SD to guide the project.
- Compliance Management: Ensure that the SAP implementation complies with relevant regulatory standards (GxP, FDA, EMA) and supports the client's quality and validation processes.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and manage potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, providing solutions to ensure successful delivery.
- End-User Training: Lead the development and delivery of training programs for the client’s warehouse staff to ensure effective use of the SAP system post-implementation.
- Continuous Support: Provide ongoing onsite support during the critical phases of testing, deployment, and initial operation to ensure smooth project execution.
Competencies / Skills:
- Expertise in SAP WM and EWM modules, and their integration with other SAP systems.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical warehouse operations and regulatory compliance
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing budgets, timelines, and teams.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with client stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills focused on delivering practical and efficient solutions.
- Certifications: PMP certification is highly desirable.
- 8-10 years of IT project management experience with a focus on SAP implementations.
- Strong background in SAP implementation within Warehouse Operations, particularly in the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Proven experience leading SAP implementation projects in Gx-P regulated environments.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Employment (W2) and Professional Services Contract (480) available.
