Onsite location : LA, SF, DC

Domestic Travel Required : 3-4 days per month.

7 years of experience background in :

  • Political campaign experience. Someone who has done political / fundraising event planning is ideal.

  • Project Overview

    We are looking for a Manager to join the Economic Opportunity & Advocacy team within US Policy to manage third party stakeholders as well as lead the coordination and build of policy programs that demonstrate the economic value of our platforms and products to policymakers and other audiences in the US. In this role you will create opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs to gain digital skills, including AI, so they can best create, build, and grow their business. You will also work closely with organizations that represent them in order to advance this work.

    This role requires knowledge of the policy landscape and experience working both cross-functionally and with external partners. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, creative, get-things-done professional who can function independently in a fast-moving environment, and rapidly earn credibility and trust within all levels of the organization. They are adept at understanding complex policy and reputation challenges.

    Overall Responsibilities

  • Develop, create, and execute programs designed to support small businesses and entrepreneurs
  • Develop, create, and execute on various policy experiences, events, and outreach programs to educate and inform policy stakeholders
  • Manage budgets, as well as vendors and consultants
  • Work cross-functionally within Policy, Marketing, Legal, Communications and other teams to help advance our company’s policy goals
  • Build and manage partnerships and relationships with external stakeholders, and represent us to external policy stakeholders at events, conferences, coalition meetings, and in various working groups
  • Support the team’s engagement with policymakers, trade associations, industry partners, chambers of commerce, and other economic-oriented stakeholders.
  • Develop and lead internal processes that support and streamline our team’s work, and improve cross-functional communication and collaboration.
  • Travel required.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • 7 years of political events-management and / or corporate programs experience
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Compensation :

    The estimated pay range for this position is USD $70.00 / Hr - USD $80.00 / Hr. Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
