POSITION OBJECTIVE: Ensure continuous operation of production lines to manufacture products that meet specifications, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Legal eligibility to work in the US
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel
- Basic math skills and some mechanical abilities
- Demonstrate ambition by suggesting improvements and exhibit flexibility in accepting additional duties as assigned.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary such as overtime, weekends, and travel.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
- Capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 pounds of various sizes and shapes.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time and climbing ladders or other equipment for cleaning.
- Understand and comply with plant policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Conduct safety and quality inspections, report hazards, and actively participate in safety meetings.
- Ensure availability of all required materials for manufacturing and packaging the specific product.
- Troubleshoot and maintain the machine, as well as load and replace raw materials as needed within it.
- Maintain cleanliness of the machine and its surroundings, while also ensuring equipment and materials are neat and orderly.
- Perform and document quality and processing audits regularly to ensure compliance with production and quality standards.
- Relieve operators for breaks as needed.
