Shipping/Receiving Clerk

TITLE: Shipping/Receiving Clerk   POSITION OBJECTIVE: To process timely pickups and deliveries for raw materials and finished goods.   First Shift position 6am to 2pm.    QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or equivalent. Experienced in scheduling freight trucks. Ability to process outbound paperwork. Ability to process inbound paperwork. Strong attention to detail and ability to use ERP and Microsoft systems. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Communicate with customers to schedule order pickups. Schedule appointments with freight carriers for material deliveries. Work with drivers to ensure timely resolution of pickups. Print orders and prepare BOL and packing slip. Ensure picked orders are correct. Receive all incoming packages and deliveries. Prepare and verify daily transfer trucks. May perform other duties related to internal paperwork.   TRAINING: Must complete online and classroom training as required.   PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Must be able to walk through the warehouse as necessary.
