Inter-State Studio & Publishing Co. is looking for Photographers to join our team in the Metro Detroit and Northern Ohio area!

Position Overview:

As an Inter-State Studio Photographer, you will set up provided equipment, pose, and photograph students and staff on-site at schools. This role blends your technical photography skills with the ability to work in a dynamic environment. If you have an eye for detail and can make people feel comfortable in front of the camera, we want to hear from you!

This seasonal position is ideal for those who enjoy working with children and need a flexible schedule. Workdays vary based on school schedules, requiring early mornings and generally lasting 8-10 hours, average 25 hours a week. We offer flexibility in scheduling when days off are needed. With our schedule aligning with the school calendar, you'll have time off during summer and winter breaks, perfect for those who appreciate these free periods.
We pay drive time and partial mileage reimbursement. Uncapped bonus opportunities as well! 

Paid training is the week of 7/29 - 8/2. Photography dates start the following week.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
 

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license

  • Reliable transportation- max drive distance up to 1.5 hours one way

  • Must pass a background check

• Abilities and Skills:

  • Photography experience preferred but not required- we provide training!

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and volunteers.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Basic computer skills and access to email.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
