Position Overview:
As an Inter-State Studio Photographer, you will set up equipment, pose, and photograph students and staff on-site at schools. This role blends your technical photography skills with the ability to work in a dynamic environment. If you have an eye for detail and can make people feel comfortable in front of the camera, we want to hear from you!

This seasonal position is ideal for those who enjoy working with children and need a flexible schedule. Workdays vary based on school schedules, generally lasting 8-10 hours, up to 40 hours a week. We offer flexibility in scheduling when days off are needed. With our schedule aligning with the school calendar, you'll have time off during summer and winter breaks, perfect for those who appreciate these free periods.

• Hours are early morning to mid-afternoon, with some afternoons and evenings depending on the schedule of events at our schools

What  you would do:

• Provide excellent customer service to our students and school clients.

• Capture great smiles of children from Pre-K to 12th grade.

• Travel to and from school locations on a daily basis. (We cover Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, Chautaqua and Northern Cattaragus counties) 

• Complete setup and take down of all equipment.

• Complete necessary post photo-shoot paperwork and auditing.

• Early morning travel is a daily part of the job.
   

Starting at $16.00, opportunity for an increase after 30 days based on performance. End of season bonus opportunities. 
Photography training starts the week of August 19th. 

Qualifications

Qualifications:
 

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license

  • Reliable transportation- You must be able to fit a mobile studio inside of your vehicle

  • Must pass a background check

• Abilities and Skills:

  • Photography experience in posing, centering, and capturing expressions a plus, full paid training provided.

  • Proficiency with PC computers preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and volunteers.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Access to email.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
