Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Ewing, NJ (onsite, Mon-Fri, 7 am-3:30 pm)
Essential Skills:
- Strong mechanical skills, particularly in assembly
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Experience in an industrial setting
- Some electrical knowledge is a plus, with a primary focus on mechanical background
Responsibilities:
- Assemble components or products for final sale, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform tensioning and torque-related services on mechanical assemblies, using calibrated tools and documenting results.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accurate assembly
- Conduct diagnostic tests on assembled products to ensure efficiency and make necessary adjustments.
- Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints, and discern the quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Read and interpret mechanical component lists, sketches, and blueprints to assemble tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with clients precise manufacturing standards.
Experience:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with machining processes and techniques
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of soldering and welding techniques
- Experience using power tools and hand tools
