Schedule: Full-time, hybrid
Are you a business-minded technologist who thrives at the intersection of systems, strategy, and operations? We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst who can translate complex business needs into scalable, well-documented technology solutions—and own the process from discovery to delivery. If you enjoy digging into workflows, identifying process bottlenecks, and partnering cross-functionally to bring ideas to life, this is the opportunity for you.
What You'll Tackle:
You’ll be part of a team modernizing core systems in a fast-paced distribution environment, driving enhancements across areas like sales-to-cash, procurement, and warehouse management. The ideal candidate is fluent in ERP workflows (think JDE), understands how data flows through finance and supply chain functions, and knows how to design elegant, user-friendly systems from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities: Business Discovery & Requirements Gathering
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to uncover system requirements and business needs.
- Analyze current-state systems and data flows, documenting gaps and inefficiencies.
- Draft detailed business cases and requirements packages to guide technical teams.
- Participate in cost estimates and collaborate with IT and business leaders on project justification.
Solution Design & Feasibility
- Develop options for system improvements or replacements—balancing functionality with usability.
- Assess technical fit and work closely with architects and developers to shape future-state solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automation, system scalability, and process optimization.
- Present design proposals and influence decision-making at multiple levels of the organization.
Testing & Validation
- Build test plans and use cases based on business scenarios.
- Conduct system and user acceptance testing in collaboration with QA and business users.
- Validate that changes meet both functional requirements and performance expectations.
Training & Support
- Create documentation and train end users to ensure successful adoption of new systems or enhancements.
- Offer post-implementation support and monitor performance to inform future iterations.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor teammates and share best practices around business analysis and documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts and support team growth and skill development.
- Help shape internal processes to improve delivery outcomes.
Additional Contributions
- Comply with internal IT and QA standards across PMLC/SDLC.
- Assist with special projects and evolving organizational priorities.
A Little Travel, A Lot of Impact:
- Light travel expected (<10%)
- Individual contributor role with wide influence across teams
What You Bring:
Must-Haves:
- 8 years of experience in systems design, testing, and business analysis
- Strong background in distribution-related business processes (Sales to Cash, Procure to Pay, AP/AR, Warehouse Management)
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience configuring and validating ERP and WMS systems (JD Edwards, Blue Yonder a plus)
- Strong documentation, communication, and process improvement skills
Preferred:
- 2-year degree required (4-year preferred), or equivalent experience
- Experience working with ERP and WMS platforms in a corporate distribution or logistics setting
This isn’t just another analyst role. It’s an opportunity to become the connective tissue between business and IT, driving change where it matters most. If you're ready to solve real-world challenges and help shape the future of a growing tech-savvy organization—let’s talk.
