Command Center Senior Engineer – Plano, Texas – Hospitality Industry
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for senior-level engineers to lead efforts in maintaining high performance, availability, and security, while tackling complex issues and optimizing infrastructure systems, to expand the client’s Global Command Center.
The client is a global leader in developing and operating resorts that offer luxury accommodation, entertainment, fine dining, and convention facilities. This organization has a strong focus on social responsibility, sustainability, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced support for all applications/ systems. Servers, storage, network, and any other related software/ hardware
- Implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNS, and intrusion detection systems
- Work closely with command center operations manager
- Interact with vendors to select and implement software solutions
The ideal candidate will have:
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V, etc)
- 9 years demonstrated experience in IT Infrastructure engineering
- Deep expertise with Linux distributions
- Proficient in one or more scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Python, etc.)
- Advanced technical, analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
