Unarmed Patrol Officer

Description

This uniformed, unarmed security guard position works independently or as part of a team.

***No Weapons Will Be Carried***

$17.00 - $19.00 Per Hour (DOE)   Shift Hours 2000 hrs to 0430 hrs 

What You'll Do:

• Patrol properties in a marked company patrol vehicle.
• Provide protection and security of persons, property, and buildings
• You'll be required to complete monitored guard tours (Detex) every hour at assigned locations throughout your shift.
• Report activity in 30-60 minute intervals 2-Way radio or company phone of incidents, which are reported to ISMG's Dispatch. Our Dispatch maintains the CAD logs of all Officer's activities.
• Maintaining a physical presence at the facility is a highly visible deterrent to illegal activity.
• Provide an empathetic approach to managing any escalated persons and situations.
• Handle typical and crises calmly, efficiently and effectively at client site.
• Learn and use mobile specialized detex and reporting software.
• You may be assigned to standing posts as needed to meet business needs
• This position may require standing, walking, bending, driving, and climbing stairs indoors and outdoors in all aspects of the weather. Officers may be required to do other tasks related to the position.

We are a corporate security firm that specializes in uniformed security and patrol services, among other security-related services. Our goal is to hire qualified personnel to grow with us.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older with a valid California Driver's License and clean DMV Record for vehicle insurability purposes.
• 1 or more years prior security experience in a vehicle patrol environment is preferred. Those with prior military experience are encouraged to apply.
• A valid California Guard Card is required  
• A valid California drives license
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Comes to work; is on time and completes shift assignments (including overtime, if assigned) to maintain an excellent attendance and punctuality standard.
• Ability to work different assigned shifts, including availability on weekends and holidays
• Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing for public interaction and report writing.
• Ability to handle typical crises efficiently and effectively at client sites.
• Understands and successfully executes his/her post orders, including enforcement of client and company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
