Trained Medication Aide (TMA)

Seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to assist with patient care and medication administration in our Minnetonka and surrounding Twin Cities Metro area facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications safely and effectively, as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist with daily patient care activities, including hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
• Monitor resident responses to medication, identifying and reporting any concerns or changes.
• Maintain accurate records of patient medication, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Current Trained Medication Aide (TMA) certification, verified by a diploma indicating at least 48 hours of training.
• Active registration as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of MN.
• Minimum one year of experience working in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility.
• Age 18 or older.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and effective charting practices.
