As an Oncology Physician, you would be eligible for productivity upside earning potential and may be eligible for quality incentives based on your region and specialty. As a Physician in Medical Oncology you'll work with 3 other Medical Oncologists and 3 Radiation Oncologists to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you'll collaborate with three Advanced Practice Providers, Nurse Navigators, MAs, strategic leadership support, Pharmacists, Social Workers, and Chaplains.
You would practice at St. Mary's Hospital's Regional Cancer Center in Grand Junction, CO
- Your clinic hours will be 8 am - 5 pm four days a week with one admin day
- You'll be on call one in four weeks
In oncology, every day is different, that's why you'll need to know how to:
- Provide and manage direct patient care in clinic, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment
- Manage the inpatient service while on call one in four weeks
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens
Your experience.

- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Hematology / Oncology
- Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete St. Mary's credentialing process
