Client
Reporting to the CFO build the blueprint for a strategic PMO capability
Identify key capabilities required to support the CFO’s vision covering investment decisioning and prioritisation, tracking, benefits realisation, driving productivity
Develop key principles and frameworks (e.g. prioritisation across lines of business) to support the PMO and value creation
Build any key artefacts, templates and policies to support the establishment of the PMO
Design a lean organisation structure including roles, accountabilities and required skills/experience
Support the client in building the initial investment portfolio
Key Deliverables:
Overall blueprint for the PMO (key services, principles, frameworks)
Development of specific high priority frameworks and policies
Organisation and role design
Initial prioritisation of investment portfolio in line with agreed principles and framework
Skills and experience required:
PMO experience in a strategic context (value management/realisation versus operational tracking)
Influencing people / engaging with teams to receive required inputs / data from colleagues
Self-starter, problem solver –someone who will be productive quickly and both get the outputs delivered on time but also show initiative in asking probing questions.
Exceptional presentation and communication skill
Financial services (preferred not required)
Rate: The daily rate to the consultant will be $1,550 per day paid plus gst to the right professional.
