What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant or LPN position at Internal Medicine of Southeast Georgia?
We are searching for a reliable Medical Assistant or LPN to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our medical practice running efficiently. Must be flexible, able to multitask, work at a fast pace and be a team player.
KNOWLEDGE
Experienced in a MEDICAL OFFICE
Medical terminology Grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Knowledge of EHR (eClinicalworks is a plus)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist physicians with exams and procedures
Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
The ability to administer injections
Measure patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse and temperature), height and weight
Manage prescriptions/eprescriptions, prior authorizations, referrals, etc.
Experience: Medical Assistant or LPN - Medical Office: 2 years (Preferred)
