Quality Auditor-Building Product Inspections

ICC NTA offers third-party testing, inspection, and certification services, mostly for the building products and construction industry. We are seeking a motivated individual to become a Quality Auditor in our Building Product Inspections department located Phoenix, Arizona or southern California area. We are willing to train an entry level individual who is reliable and motivated, with a drive to learn new skills. Job Duties:

• Support the building and construction industry performing quality system audits at manufacturing facilities.
• Review manufacturers quality manuals and ensure initial and ongoing compliance.
• Performing product sampling/witnessing at manufacturers facilities
• Schedule facility audits and product sampling throughout the year to ensure efficient operation.
• Home-based position with travel throughout the United States conducting both remote and on-site audits.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent communication abilities. Always interact with friendly and positive attitude towards all.
• Great computer skills with the ability to complete audit reports.
• Be able to travel on regular basis, domestic and international if needed.
• Knowledge of building products and quality system management is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train a motivated candidate.
• Willing to complete additional training and certifications as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Work experience in construction, building products, or building products testing a plus.
• Experience working with quality systems a plus.
• Valid Passport and Driver's License is required.
