- Plan, develop, and establish targets necessary to achieve and deploy ICHS organizational strategic goals and objectives related to community health services.
- Establish and monitor key performance measures related to grant deliverables and organizational strategic goals and priorities.
- Manage the operations of school services programs including school based health and mobile dental.
- Empower staff and promote a work environment of quality service, teamwork and respect to support patient and community centered care; lead team meetings to maximize efficiencies.
- Monitor utilization, quality, and patient satisfaction data and maintain a system of controls for analysis and evaluation of services.
- Oversee the preparation, maintenance and submission of a variety of narrative and statistical reports.
- Work in tandem with Community Health Services Coordinator and other key stakeholders in to create activity and outreach plans to support key initiatives and projects in ICHS clinics, the communities we serve and partner organizations.
- Coordinate communication on upcoming projects and activities with broader ICHS staff, specifically (but not limited to) marketing staff and health center managers.
- Ensure staff are aware of and compliant with department and organizational policies and procedures and assist department leadership with the development of policies and procedures as needed.
- Work in conjunction with department leadership to establish and achieve team goals/targets.
- Participate in the development and implementation of goals, work plans, performance measures and continuous improvement to assist in attaining program and department goals.
- Participates in quality improvement activities and committee meetings as directed by the Director of Community Health Services.
- Manage, analyze, review and adjust budgetary and financial data and staffing plan to ensure financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and quality performance.
- Assist with grant writing/reporting to support organizational priorities for community services including, identifying potential funding sources and managing multiple program and grant budgets.
Education - BA required (a minimum of 2 years of college completion and/or Associates Degree with additional 4 years of progressively responsible leadership positions may substitute for the Bachelors); MSW, MPH, or related Masters preferred.
Experience - Six (6) years’ experience in community/public health which includes a minimum of four (4) years in program management, staff supervision, training, grant-writing, and program development. Previous experience working with government grants preferred. Previous experience in community outreach/development, preferably in a community health setting. Experience working within the Asian and Pacific Islander communities preferred.
