Job Summary

The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing daily support to project Superintendents by handling data entry, overseeing administrative tasks, and communicating with internal and external customers.

Minimum Qualifications

• A working knowledge of general office procedures at a level normally acquired through one year of experience in an office setting; and
• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
• Working knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Other Requirements

• Must have a safe driving record and a valid driver's license.
  
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• One year of experience working in a civil construction office is preferred.
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for administering and maintaining project packages.
• Responsible for coordinating Dig Alerts.
• Responsible for analyzing pre-fields projects, including products, traffic and pedestrian control requirements.
• Responsible for notifying residents and businesses affected of upcoming work.
• Communicates and coordinates new project information and schedule with the Public Works Department.
• Responsible for coordinating and communicating required units, timeline and scheduled outages with Utility inspectors.
• Supports the superintendent with daily paperwork and administrative tasks.
• Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage range: $24 - $34 hourly.
