What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trade Execution Specialist position at International Materials, LLC?
Description
- The main role of this position is to be a liaison between the traders and the other areas of the company.
- Assist traders with drafting sale and supply agreements for customers.
- Work with the legal department in order to support risk management by analyzing the contracts with the parties involved in a trade and track discrepancies in order to minimize the company risks and exposure.
- Assist traders with drafting client offers, requesting freight quotes, preparing lot sheets / budgets, etc.
- Provide the Operations department with the trade information and Lot Sheet (LS) so they can execute the trade with accurate and updated information.
- Keep a digital file with all the LS, contracts and recaps for all the business.
- Coordinate with operations in different countries on inventory levels, quality specs, cash flow requirements, shipment schedules, vessel nominations, sales and supply agreements, etc.
- Perform market research on clients, products, markets and sources.
- Work closely with the financial department and the traders in the collections program.
- Support the payment allocation process of the unapplied cash.
- Work with finances and operations in order to support the Traders in the revision of the quarter analysis results, making sure the info in the books is in line with the trade results.
- Assist traders with customer services.
- Prepare business presentations for client meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- Knowledge of trade and/or logistics preferred.
- Resourceful, organized, and strong attention to detail.
- Able to multi-task and work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- English with knowledge of Spanish language preferred.
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
