ISP Regional People Operations (HR) Generalist, US East & Canada Role Profile

Purpose of Role

We are seeking an exceptional Regional People Operations (HR) Generalist, US East & Canada who is team-oriented, collaborative, has a “hands on roll-up their sleeves” attitude, hasWorkdayexperience and has high customer service standards. TheRegional People Operations (HR) Generalistrole will be focused on administering support with focused on administering support with recruitment, new hire-onboarding, HR inquiries, HR administrative support to include but not limited to: reporting tasks, employee file maintenance, and Workday system maintenance and other tasks completed in alignment with ISP and school standards. This role will support our shared HR services inbox.

Please note that this is a Temporary Position through April 2026, with the possibility of an extension.

This individual must thrive in a fast-paced environment, with many moving pieces, haveWorkdayexperience and seeks to ensure they provide a “white-glove” customer service experience for our candidates and employees. In this role, you will be supporting a People Operations (HR) Shared Services with upwards to 1,000 employees in a multi-state environment and growing.

ISP Regional People Operations (HR) Generalist, US East & Canada Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support with the HRIS platforms as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Act as a first point of contact and provide a stellar “customer experience” in supporting HR inquiries in all disciplines - payroll, benefits, HRSIS updates, etc.
  • Serve as a systems Guru in all things Workday systems in supporting the ongoing maintenance and updating of data in the system
  • Multi-state experience - understanding the nuances to each states legal requirements.
  • Support with recruitment efforts to include but not limited to – gathering references, background checks and supporting with onboarding efforts, aligned to our safer recruitment processes.
  • Act as a point of contact and provide a stellar “candidate experience” by relationship building during the selection process.
  • Submit background checks through our background check provider (Sterling) for selected candidates. Including collection of international police checks (from candidates) as applicable.
  • Provide support to with updating HR databases and systems related to onboarding initiatives.
  • Support our schools with new hire onboarding activities as outlined by our onboarding guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring all employee files for new hires and existing employees are maintained in accordance with file standards.
  • Support with I-9 completion and organization.
  • Provide support with the HRIS platforms as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Human Resources function.
  • A minimum of 5 years of recent and relevant experience across all HR disciplines
  • Workday experience preferred. Heave use if Workday and management.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with employees and all levels of management; able to create a working environment of open communication and trust.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of the education industry.

Job Type: Full-time Temporary

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
