Seeking Professional ‘People Person’ for High School Student Exchange Program
- Job Type: Independent Contractor, WFH (2-3 hours weekly), with community engagement

We're looking for enthusiastic an outgoing individual to join our team as a Host Family Recruiter. As a recruiter, you'll play a vital role in welcoming international high school students to your community by finding them caring and supportive volunteer host families.
Responsibilities:
- Networking within the community
- Contacting potential host families
- Conducting initial screenings (in-person)
- Presenting information about the ISE program
- Building relationships with interested families
You'll be the first point of contact for potential host families, answering their
questions and guiding them through the initial stages of the application
process. Your warm and approachable demeanor will be key to building trust and
encouraging families to open their home to a well-screened
international student.

Application Question(s):
- ISE representatives are required to conduct in-person home intervews to assess the suitability of a family to host an exchange student. Will you be able to provide this service?
- The US State Department requires representatives to conduct in-person visits with the exchange student and hosts every other month (Oct, Dec, Feb, Apr & June). Will you be able to complete this requirement?
- Do you understand that this is not a weekly or hourly employee paid position, but ISE representatives receive a generous per-placement stipend and great travel perks?
