Overview:We are looking for a highly motivated Corporate Development team member to spearhead our acquisition efforts within the clinical laboratory industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of market dynamics, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify and pursue acquisition opportunities that align with our strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive acquisition strategy to identify potential targets in the clinical laboratory industry.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis.
• Conduct detailed financial analyses and valuations of potential acquisition targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct due diligence and assess strategic fit.
• Negotiate and structure acquisition deals in alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership to support decision-making processes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to inform acquisition strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a deep understanding of valuation techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven track record of successfully leading acquisition projects from inception to completion.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with industry stakeholders.

General Physical Requirements

Executive Management Staff often experience stress & pressure and need the ability to manage stressful situations in a calm and thoughtful manner. Additionally this job is performed in an office environment which requires the following abilities: 

• Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
• Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Lifting & Moving: May need to assist with safely lifting or moving equipment and supplies on occasion.
• Fine Motor Skills: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
