I-State Truck Center is a market leader in service. We excel at providing solutions and adding value for our customers. Growth is a critical component of our business plan, and we are currently looking for a Service Advisor to help us in that growth.
Service Advisors fulfill a critical role in our operations, our mission and our promise to our customers as we strive to provide “Pride in Service.” We do this by providing our technicians with the factory training they need to accomplish and sustain the highest efficiency possible.
Job Duties:
- Greet customers and start the process of helping them through the repair
- Help identify a mechanical problem by questioning the customer or visual inspection
- Positive interface with technicians, foreman, parts department and customers
- Advise customers about necessary services needed for repair of vehicle and keep them informed throughout repair process
- Review the work and invoice with customer to ensure understanding
Ideal Candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Positive attitude and good customer service skills
- Organized and able to manage time wisely
- Ability to set goals and accomplish them
- Ability to serve multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Solid written and verbal skills through phone, in person and electronic communication
- Strong administrative abilities including computer, phone, paperwork, etc.
Requirements for Service Advisor:
- High school degree required or equivalent
- Previous customer service and/or service advisor experience a plus
- Ability to use computers with Windows based software, the Internet, and email
