Interstate Assembly System's location in Sacramento California is looking to add a Service Advisor to their team.
Interstate Assembly Systems specializes in the Fabrication and Installation of truck bodies for IMT, Knapheide, and Royal Service Trucks, as well as the service and maintenance of those components. Pay Range: $18-25/Hour DOE
Job Duties:
- Greet the customer and start the process of helping the customer through the repair
- Help identify a mechanical problem by questioning the customer or visual inspection
- Positive interface with technicians, foreman, parts department, and customers
- Advise customers about necessary services needed for repair of vehicle
- Write and present accurate estimates of repair
- Explain the work and charges to the customer when the job is complete
- Accurately process customer and warranty repair orders
- Organize and prioritize workflow of shop and field technicians
- Administrative duties as related to role
- Schedules services calls for our customers with our technicians. Help our technicians with parts for service orders, invoice service orders.
- Takes customer and technician phone calls and emails. Setting up new customers.
- Back up Administrators during times of need answering phones
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Positive attitude
- Solid written and verbal communication skills including excellent customer service and phone skills
- Organized and able to manage time wisely
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to read and understand contracts preferred
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills; both verbally and written.
- Strong level of accountability, sense of urgency and ability to follow-up.
- Strong ability to document and communicate with internal and external customers
- Technical skills with ability to learn new systems. Ability to work on multiple systems.
- General Mechanical Knowledge Preferred
