Product Development Lead

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Product Development Lead to join our team at Interstate Packaging Company. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products and processes that meet our company's needs.

**Responsibilities:**

• Provide project management leadership to drive business results.
• Determine the appropriate materials needed to achieve successful completion of initiatives.
• Research and monitor existing client base and industry developments to identify potential new product opportunities.
• Apply knowledge of materials and recommend engineering and manufacturing changes to attain design objectives.
• Lead technology transfer to manufacturing.
• Leverage innovation and information from packaging and material suppliers.

**Requirements:**

• At least 10 years of experience in the field.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Complete understanding of Narrow Web Pressure Sensitive division.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.

**Essential Functions:**

• Reading, writing, computer, and math/analytical skills.
• Strong scientific and engineering knowledge.
• Mobility necessary to interact with all departments located throughout the building.
