The Administrative Assistant position will directly support teams in Sioux Falls, with collaboration & communication across the organization, along with partners outside of Interstates. Responsibilities
- Operating Systems
- Working within the Microsoft Office Suite to produce complex documents, manipulate spreadsheets, produce professional presentations, work within databases, email, and schedule various meetings and equipment.
- Learn various systems based on specific supporting roles
- Organizational Agility
- Understands how the admin role supports the office
- Handle office tasks, such as filing, generating reports, setting up for meetings and reordering supplies for the office
- Make travel and appointment arrangements as necessary
- Attention to Detail
- Efficient data entry with minimal to no errors, competent in proofing and editing, takes pride in appearance of themselves to employees and clients, ability to keep themselves and others organized
- Record, compile, transcribe and distribute meeting notes to various meeting participants
- Customer Service
- Maintains a positive, friendly demeanor when communicating, whether it’s with other Interstates team members or current/potential clients (answering phones, email, instant messaging)
- Provide support in communications, scheduling, note taking, travel plans, and project-based support
- Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience
- In addition to scheduling meetings and events, this person would be asked to help plan and coordinate meetings, events, and manage various internal projects
- Help onboard new team members
- Provide accountability for the team
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- Associate’s degree (A.A., A.S.) from a two-year community college or technical school or Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) from four-year college or university.
- Or equivalent combination of education and related experience/training
- Traits/Characteristics
- Self-starter, takes initiative,
- Ability to take concepts/plans and drive them to completion
- Ability to communicate and interact
- Adaptability – doesn’t get rattled by changing landscape and/or environment
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of detail
Travel:
- This position will be located in our Sioux Center office with minimal travel – less than 10%

Salary : $35,500 - $45,000
