Responsibilities
- Verify and enhance proprietary financial model accuracy against actual security payment and performance data
- Retrieve, extract, and process monthly reporting data for thousands of transactions, using proprietary software tools
- Integrate monthly reporting data into Intex’s cashflow model
- Enhance data processing procedures and quality assurance
- Provide extensive client support for data used within Intex's core products.
Qualifications
- At a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree with a major, minor, concentration, or specialization in Mathematical Finance, Financial Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or related quantitative field, or its equivalent
- Experience with economic modeling and financial analysis
- Exceptional quantitative and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Python and/or Perl to digest, process and analyze economic or financial reporting
- Demonstrated programming aptitude
- Exceptional quantitative and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Interest in improving existing systems to make them more efficient
- Motivated self-starter with strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate proactively and openly with coworkers, data providers, and clients
