Position: Manual QA Tester

Location: NYC

Duration: Long Term

Work hours: 35 hours/week ( Mon-Friday)*

SCOPEOFSERVICES: Duties and responsibilities of the incumbent are the following. Incumbent may perform related work.

• Read requirements and create test cases off it
• Manage and execute manual tests for Desktop and Mobile browser compatible applications
• Conduct positive and negative testing and performs accessibility tests for different user types depending on roles and privileges
• Document and manage bugs and issues using Azure DevOps
• Work effectively meeting deadlines in an Agile environment
• Communicates issues / concerns to development team, team lead and project resources
• Working under limited supervision, ensure that system under test meets business requirements
• Prepare testing related reports, if necessary

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION: A baccalaureate degree in computer science or a related computer field from an accredited college or university is required.

• At least 3 years of experience in manual testing of web applications with Microsoft tools
• Azure DevOps experience required
• Should have strong experience on functionality testing and GUI testing
• Experience working in agile environment
• Proven ability to deliver quality results in a busy and dynamic business focused environment.
• Accuracy and attention to details
• Ability to effectively communicate information to individuals and groups
• Proficient using Windows and MS Office applications

• Basic knowledge in using Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive as a document repository.
