Overview
Intrepid Solutions is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer to support a new program serving a DoD customer. This effort will provide research, development, assessment, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstration, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of the designated information and/or intelligence software systems with Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) warfighting capabilities. A qualified Systems Engineer will meet or exceed the qualifications, and be capable of performing the duties, listed below:
Responsibilities
- Demonstrating and conducting experiments on the interoperability of technology developed under the on-going effort with Army, other services, and other military systems (both coalition and Joint).
- Interacting with the government and military user communities for planning, & execution and development of use cases, scenarios, vignettes with cost estimate/affordability analysis.
- Conducting surveys and assessments to identify problem areas and determine deficiencies in operations.
- Preparing Government for hosting technical workshops to exchange the latest technologies and to promote the participation of Government experimentation by the user community and developers.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- This is a Full Time position, with operating hours to be discussed during the interview process. Position is anticipated to require 100% onsite support, unless otherwise determined.
TRAVEL:
- Position may require some travel.
Qualifications
CLEARANCE:
- Active Top Secret / SCI. ***TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration. This position is not open for any clearance upgrades, reactivation, or sponsorship.***
EDUCATION:
- Required, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
CERTIFICATION(S):
- None
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have BS degree Engineering or Computer Science and at least five (5) years of experience in demonstrating and conducting experiments on the interoperability of technology developed under the on-going effort with Army, other services, and other military systems (both coalition and Joint).
- Experience executing a project of similar requirements, scope, and size.
