Invenia is working with a rapidly expanding specialist manufacturer of scientific instrumentation to hire multiple Field Application Specialists across America.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and stable manufacturer in the Proteomic Research tool space that has an excellent market reputation.
Role responsibilities :
The role will require a deep understanding of different immunoassay technologies as you will oversee seminars and platform training within a fast-moving rapidly developing field. Additional responsibilities will include working in partnership with the Sales team as well as researchers to assist with experimental design and high-level troubleshooting.
This is a field-based role and is a travel element to the position. Locations include
- San Diego, California
- Los Angeles, California
- Midwest (location is flexible for this region)
- Seattle
- RTP, North Carolina
What we are looking for :
For this, we are looking for someone with a PhD in a biology-related subject. Candidates must have extensive hands-on experience with immunoassays specifically ELISA or Multiplexing, this includes assay design, development and optimisation experience.
Experience working as a FAS or in a support / customer-facing role is desired but not essential. The company have had great success training and developing post-doc researchers into an FAS role.
This is a field-based role and candidates must be in the territory and be willing to travel.
