Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst I
Department: Quality Engineering
Reporting to: VP of Quality Engineering
Location: Remote in the continental USA. Maryland local applicants to be given preference and enact a hybrid working environment.
Hours of work: Typical hours of work are from 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be necessary as needed. This position is exempt from overtime.
Compensation: $40,000 USD annually.
Overview: We are looking for Quality Assurance Analysts to join InVita’s Transplant Division and team of passionate and brilliant visionaries who are transforming cloud-based medical software and enabling millions of lives to be saved and healed around the globe. The Quality Assurance Analyst executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards. They will be responsible for preparing test plans, test cases and protocols to test logic, error handling and system workflows. A Quality Assurance Analyst also isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects. Additionally, they verify defect fixes upon resolution. They are required to document testing according to established guidelines.

Essential Functions:
- Analyze user/business requirements, functional specs and use cases and design test coverage plans
- Develop and execute test procedures for various stages like Integration, Regression and System Testing
- Implement Validation Test Protocols by adhering to test instructions
- Isolate, replicate, report defects and verify defect fixes
- Coordinate with teams to resolve issues in interpreting the requirements
- Other duties as required

- Prior software testing/QA experience is a plus
- While performing the duties of this position, prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer may be required
- Additionally, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
- The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include: close, distance, color, peripheral, and the ability to adjust focus
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Ability to travel on a flexible schedule. Airplane travel is necessary
