Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to work at our plant in Charlotte, NC. As part of your job you will have to complete all maintenance functions including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, while promoting and practicing safety at all times, and contributing to the continuous improvement of plant equipment by finding ways to eliminate unscheduled downtime and improve efficiency. You will be responsible to:

  • Coordinate maintenance activities through Planned Maintenance methodologies
  • Enhance equipment and part reliability, extended life and suppress abnormal conditions or failures. (MTBF - Mean time between failures)
  • Conduct audits of PM teams completion and machine certifications
  • Prevent breakdowns through predictive maintenance, deterioration checks, time-based maintenance, and conditioned based maintenance
  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities. Document progress and benefits
  • Install, program, and troubleshoot electrical systems including PLC, and motor controls
  • Inspect/maintain records of planned and completed maintenance through CMMS.
  • Direct training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures

Qualifications


To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a minimum of 1 year college or technical school; licensed or Certified industrial electrician
  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience, preferably 5 years
  • Demonstrate mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic aptitude, welding and fabrication
  • Possess excellent communication and math skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrams or schematics
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and work above 6' on ladder or elevated lift.

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Working knowledge of FMECA, FTA, and Reliability Centered Maintenance.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • Industrial safety experience
  • NFPA Regulations and National Electric Codes knowledge
  • Environmental waste regulations
