Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to order fulfillment, inventory control, and shipping/receiving. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the operation of equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming shipments
- Perform inventory control tasks, including cycle counting and stock rotation
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and process orders
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and inventory control procedures
- Proficiency in operating equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
- Basic computer skills for data entry and use of warehouse management systems
