Responsibilities
- Work with diverse individuals, including crew members, foremen, maintenance crews, subcontractors, and customers.
- Concrete work and repair
- Scale deck repair
- Trenching for conduit
- Using a variety of tools
- Maintain CAT Scale equipment.
- Travel 2-3 weeks at a time
Requirements
- A construction background is helpful, and concrete experience is highly preferred!
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all types of people
- Able to work successfully under limited supervision AND in a team-based setting
- You must be accountable for your actions, be detail-oriented, and take the initiative to complete projects promptly.
- Possesses the ability to lift and move 50-75 pounds regularly and must be able to stand, kneel, and bend over long periods.
- Work outside during all types of weather.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, or 2-3 weeks at a time, throughout the United States and Canada. Must have the ability to obtain a Passport.
- Ensure all safety guidelines and organizational best practices are always followed.
- Employees MUST live within two hours from CAT Scale Headquarters in Walcott, Iowa.
License
- Valid Class A CDL with good driving record (preferred) or ability to obtain one in the first 3 months of employment.
