Examples of Duties
Constant (67-100%)
- Provide quality customer service to clients, suppliers, College staff and the public.
- Assure daily that soiled glassware is collected and washed.
- Assure daily that the Laboratory is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Process and dispose of sample retains in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory of general laboratory reagents and supplies.
- Perform routine basic testing of fuel samples as directed.
- Perform duties in a manner that is compliant with the BQ-9000 and ISO-9001 quality programs.
- Perform routine instrument maintenance and simple repairs.
- Assist in maintaining instrument log books including sample sheets, calibration documents, and other laboratory documentation.
- Employ revised or new methods in compliance with BQ-9000 or ISO-9001 certification standards.
- Participate in BQ-9000 and ISO-9001 internal and external audits as required.
- Participate in management review meetings and other Laboratory meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.)
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
Qualifications
High school diploma and two years of laboratory experience required.
