Adjunct Instructor- Babysitter/Child Care, Hourly CE

Description

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Child Care/ Babysitter Trainer to educate aspiring babysitters on childcare best practices, safety, and professional conduct. The trainer will be develop and deliver training programs that cover child development, emergency response, communication skills, and other essential caregiving aspects.

Job Duties

• Design and conduct training programs for babysitters, include hands-on workshops and online courses.
• Teach essential childcare skills such as feeding, diapering, bedtime routines, and playtime activities.
• Educate trainees on child safety, first aid, CPR, and emergency procedures
• Provide guidance on handling behavioral challenges and effective communication with both children and parents
• Train babysitters on professional ethics, responsibility, and customer service skills.
• Develop educational materials, including handbooks, presentation, and videos.
• Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback
• Stay update with childcare best practices, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Certification in CPR and First AID
• Certification in Childcare, early childhood education, or a related field.
• Certification in Emergency Medical Response
• Strong understanding of child development and childcare techniques
• Previous experience being a childhood educator/instructor
• Ability to create engaging and informative training sessions.
• Experience in curriculum development is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills
• Knowledge of child safety laws and best practices
• Ability to pass a background check
  
  

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
• The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
• Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.
