Wespath, recognized as a 2017-2025 Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® and a 2018-2025 National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®, has an opportunity for a IT Financial Analyst that supports administration, analysis, vendor contract management, invoice processing, and budgeting for the Information Technology Department. The analyst also ensures compliance with software licensing terms, renewals, and maintenance.
More specifically, as the IT Financial Analyst you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key business partners (IT and non-IT) to obtain supporting information for building the budget for both operating and capital expenditures.
- Develop an accurate understanding of actual financial expenses and how they impact variances to budget and forecast.
- Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of IT’s performance against historical, budgeted, and forecasted results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and forecast.
- Procure hardware, software, and supplies as needed by the IT department through approved vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing terms, renewals, and maintenance.
- Provide timely and effective Purchase Order and Invoice processing support to the IT department managers, ensuring proper coding to support financial reporting for project costing and departmental operations.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors.
- Manage IT vendor contracts - tracking end dates and renewal notice / terms.
- Manage IT software licensing and ensure licensing is kept current based on what is in use.
- Deliver ad hoc reports, analysis and projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
IT Financial Analyst Benefits and Compensation:

- The compensation range for this position is $95,000 - $105,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant’s qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in general finance and accounting areas.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting.
- Experience with Excel-based models or reporting systems.
- Experience working in Information Technology providing financial support.
