What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President, Client Experience position at IPG DXTRA?
DeVries is looking for a senior level freelancer with earned media expertise to partner with our EVP on program development.
What you'll do:
- Translate client objectives and business strategies into multiplatform communications plans and story narratives as part of program development
- Demonstrate knowledge of client business objectives and proactively suggest ideas, media relations strategies and pitch angles to meet those objectives
- Write key messages and story narratives to positively position clients and educate media on the client's point of view
- Write and present media strategy recommendations (presentation and document formats) to PR and marketing clients
- Partner with data & analytics team to set coverage expectations (to brand team leads and clients), as well as create analytics systems with the appropriate measurement tools to track and evaluate media coverage against goals
What you'll have:
- Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communication skills that are clear, concise and direct; must have keen attention to detail, particularly when it comes to grammar and spelling
- Be a demonstrated self-starter and work well within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team in a global matrixed agency and client organization
- Show a clear ability to work autonomously, with solid decision-making skills
- Demonstrate a passion for culture and the expertise in crafting communications strategy into relevant, timely and engaging story narratives, creative ideas and news-worthy pitches (i.e. ability to create a story with no celebrity talent or product/service innovation)
- Journalistic instincts and skills in uncovering and developing stories
