We are seeking individuals that are passionate about helping those that struggle with mental illness, substance abuse, homelessness, and forensically involved clientele. We are currently seeking a Communication Generalist to join our team to work in our Downtown Dallas office.
Duties/Responsibilities
The external communication liaison will represent us and our mission by interacting with our clientele and related parties through phone, email, written correspondence, or in person at one of our locations. As an effective member of the External Communications Team, the liaison carries out daily interactions in a professional, courteous, accurate, and encouraging manner. He or she is responsible for communication with external partners, managing and executing assigned administrative tasks in order to assist in the fulfillment of our mission. The external communication liaison is accountable and supervised by the External Communications Manager. The External Communication Liaison fulfills a necessary auxiliary function and does not provide direct treatment services to clientele.
Establish and maintain rapport with external partners through provision of exceptional customer service
Actively collaborate in weekly staffing meetings and court proceedings with specialty courts and other external partners
Document meeting minutes and ensure patient files are updated with relevant content
Assist with patient scheduling to enroll new patients, and/or pre-existing patients, into treatment services
Participate in IPS clinical case review meetings to ensure internal collaboration with clinical staff and continuity of care
Research, collect, analyze, and prepare weekly treatment summaries for clientele involved in specialty court programs
Prepare weekly court staffing reports to analyze the quality of the collaboration between IPS and the various specialty court programs
Required Skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suites
- Data Entry, Quality Management Control, and External Communication
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Conferred Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related psychotherapeutic field with 1 year of previous psychiatric experience required
- QMHP required

Pay: $21.63-$22.60 per hour
