Job Overview
Provides expertise and systems support in developing and enhancing business systems to provide new or enhanced products to clients or effective planning, reporting, and analysis tools to internal functions. Extensive healthcare experience. Strong communicator; confident in working independently and driving processes forward.
Essential Functions
- Review, define, and document business processes and requirements, making recommendations
for improvements in addition to identifying potential gaps in processes and information needs to
support new business capabilities and services.
- Identifies and prioritizes the development of business and functional requirements.
- Participates in global design sessions, ensuring that business design decisions are documented.
- Actively participates in design and configuration meetings with the Client resources.
- Conducts and supports testing activities.
- Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.
- Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications
of the application of technology to the current business environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Req
- 5 years business analysis experience Req
- Knowledge of business-wide applications (e.g. third party software and internal operational
applications, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure
applications, systems and processes to enable execution of those skills.
- Knowledge of Healthcare Provider data
- Understanding of healthcare application ecosystem (i.e. Claims Processing, EHR)
- Experience in gathering user requirements and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
- Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills
