The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $33,600.00 - $56,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.

The Specimen Receipt and Processing Associate is responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with the receipt of clinical specimens.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with receipt of consignments and shipments.
- Open shipments and quality check patient info forms, escalating incorrect or missing information to senior staff.
- Dispose of or recycle kit shipping supplies correctly.
- Conduct secondary checks of shipping materials to ensure specimens are not left in kit packaging.
- Support and respond to after-hour alarms and other job-critical functions.
- Assist in maintenance of equipment.
- Help with supply inventory functions and general cleanup of workstations.
- Perform various administrative duties as required.
- Organize the work area as requested by management.
- Handle receipt of compounds and control material, depending on the functional area.
- Follow safety procedures.
- Participate in continuing education through self-study and attendance of meetings.
- Perform work in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
- Other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on the assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
