Position: Credit Union Vice President
- Location: IMKCFCU Main Branch in Kingsford, Michigan

The Credit Union Vice President is responsible for assisting in carrying out the Credit Union’s policies and operations and in maintaining effective member and employee relations. This position will also provide administrative support as needed. This role provides strategic direction for financial performance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and policy management, while fostering a culture of accountability and transparency. The Vice President collaborates with the CEO and Board of Directors to align financial strategies with organizational goals, safeguard assets, and support sustainable growth.
Essential Job Functions
· Assists the CEO in maintaining a productive workflow and office conduct.
· Evaluates operating systems and procedures in an on-going basis.
· Assists in planning and implementing programs to upgrade Credit Union services and to stimulate growth of the Credit Union.
· Manages the Credit Union in the absence of the CEO.
· Assists in keeping the Credit Union in compliance with all regulations that govern the operation of a federal credit union.
· Supervises the accounting operations of the Credit Union.
· Assists in the hiring of personnel; train, supervise, and discipline employees
· Assists Supervisors of all departments.
· Assists with staff complaints/issues/accommodations.
· Oversees all staff training.
· Oversees performance appraisals.
· Handles all payroll items to include bi-weekly payroll; GL postings; retirements submissions; quarterly reporting; year-end W2’s, IRS filings, etc.
· Handles all state tax filings.
· Manages sect 125 and yearly census testing.
· Completes Workman’s Comp audit.
· Helps Marketing with maintaining website; social media; and advertising documents.
· Assists CEO with completion of quarterly NCUA Call Reports.
· Performs other duties as assigned by CEO and/or Board of Directors.

Requirements:
- Five years of experience in the financial sector
- Degree in Business Administration or Finance
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge of human resources, computer operations and experience in supervisory skills are all desirable attributes for this position
