JOB SUMMARY:
Manufacturing Engineer Plans, designs, arranges, changes, and optimizes a manufacturing process in an effort to achieve customer product and facility metric requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Optimize Manufacturing Processes: Develop, document, and improve methods for laser cutting, press brake forming, welding, painting, and assembling parts to meet quality and efficiency standards.
- Enhance Production Efficiency: Analyze workflows, identify operator improvements, and implement process controls to boost throughput and reduce costs.
- Support New Product Launches: Design manufacturing processes, fixtures, and tooling for new products, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and zero-defect goals.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with customers, suppliers, and internal departments on product design, tooling, training, and problem-solving.
- Manage Engineering Projects & Documentation: Lead projects, maintain accurate records, and support systems like ERP/MRP, certifications, and capital equipment planning
- Other duties as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)
- At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from accredited college
- Non-degree: 10 years working within a technical environment at a metal fabrication facility
JOB QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED):
- Subject Matter Expert on one or more Manufacturing processes
- If engineering degree is applicable, to have worked 3 years in metal fabrication facility
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day
- Able to frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and lift for 8-12 hours per day
- Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment
- Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
- Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
- Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)
- Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
